Yeah, it's not perfect to be sure. At least I don't think so. Like we're
all the ones messed up instead or something? No, I'd have to say these
images never map exactly right. Whether it be POV-Ray at fault or the
image used isn't correct is anyones guess. The previous image I had used
was definately off, I had to actually add in a slice of longitude
(couple degrees or more) and maybe even a bit to the North or South pole
but I don't remember. The problem comes when trying to adjust for all
points on the globe you see. Were it a simple singular direction (scale)
it wouldn't be so tough; but if even a rescaling, or resizing rather, of
both latitude and longitude fails it's just never going to be right.
Well, never say never.
Anyhow so far it looks as if were I to move anything one way a lot of
points shift badly the other, and likewise for the other directions.
Could be a mapping type of problem but I don't see it that way yet.
