    I was surprised at just how few female POV users there are, or,  rather,
how few female POV users that completed this survey there are.

    It is a well known phenomenon in computing that there are few females in
the field, but I thought the situation with POV would be different - I
wonder what proportion of more 'traditional' artists are female ?
