For some reason, the photorealistic nature of raytraced images make them
quite suited to narratives or poetry. You can see for instance some
collaborative haikus written by several people around Tsutomu Higo's povray
& photoshop work.

Something like this could be done, with some people posting pictures and
other people (or the authors themselves) writing things "around" them,
stories, poems or even music.
