Well, fact is I was able to save MOST of my important data. It was
darn frusterating not to have a computer (oh, it was down before I
left. Crashed and when I rebooted things were messed up) but the people
who sent me my new drive made things much easier by pre-installing Win95
on the drive. I was all ready to start again from scratch, but I was up
and running in 15 minutes and had most of my files reinstalled in and
hour (thanks to my 10mbps internet connection) Still need to decide if
I'm going to put Word or Wordperfect on my machine (I prefer WP, but I'm
working on a group project and we have to use Word 97) but for the most
part I am ready to rock again. Hate to admit it, but the preinstalled
IE sure came in handy, if only to dl Netscape.
Besides, not much I can do about it now. Best to accept what you
cannot change I find.

Steve
