um i think i'll hazard a guess. could it be a shape made with the
sphere_sweep thing in the superpatch, then have an oniony type pigment
applied to it?
either that or a whole bunch of spheres joined together using a sine type
function. whatever way its done it looks like you're using a sine / cosine
type function to make that shape.

oh, and theres a couple of difference blocks thrown in there too eh?

is it blatantly obvious i have no idea what im talking about?

oh well, you learn from your mistakes ;-)
its pretty funky anyway, i like it.
