I just found that a ctl3d32.dll I had was causing an error message with
the Unvise uninstaller when removing POV-Ray for Windows 3.1d before
installation of the latest 3.1e. Told me it was the NT version of this
particular dll, yet I could continue if I Ctrl-Alt-Del keyed out of the
error. I found another ctl3d32.dll elsewhere on my drive and replaced
the "NT" one in Windows\System folder. No error then.
Curious since the Windows version is supposed to go onto a NT system,
right? The other dll was not in Windows\System before, obviously, but
suppose the version difference caused some confusion in there someplace.
Btw, it was a freeze-up too, not a mere error message.
Just thought I'd mention this here due to that other dll being brought
up.
