just cuz it's not needed doesn't mean you shouldn't use it. (usually
applied to the 'texture' token)

POV is pronounced pee-oh-vee.
The first place to look when trying to figure out how some primitive
works is the source code, followed by the manual.
Rendering is for sissies; writing rendering software is where the real
prestige is.
modeling is okay, but unless your scene has at least one #while loop
in it, it's not a POV scene.
POV code should be indented like C code.
