Yep, sure does. Just export to DXF from the File menu in MAX (I think
versions under 1.2 don't support it though...). Actually, now that I think
about it, use 3DS because the texture definitions convert correctly. DXF
just cuts the definitions for advanced texturing out. Of course the end
result will depend on whether or not the file format you want to convert it
to later has support for the texturing options.
