I am trying to plot a smooth mesh of a plate (It is created using some algorithm
which I am trying to demonstrate, so although I can just use a better mesh, it's
missing the point).
I get a weird artifact, although I have no_shadow AND double_illuminate turned
on for this object: at the middle of the plate (where the food usually lies),
the whole plate changes color to a much brighter shade, as though the normals
change abruptly at that area. I checked the mesh, and it does not appear to have
normal problems as far as I see... I thought that perhaps it's because the mesh
is too thin? Any other suggestions?
