Well....... OOPS (he says, with egg on his face), I see now--and should have
seen earlier, sorry-- that although SEED can accept a floating-point
number, it simply truncates the fractional part and only uses the integer.
I.e., seed(432.9574635) becomes simply seed(432)

SO..... EVERYONE FORGET THAT LAST POST, OK?  OK?  (heh heh)

And now I'm back to being quite perplexed. Referring to my post before the
last one (!), again I ask: Is my code wrong, or is my concept wrong?
