Trying to get back into POV, have not used it for several years and seem to have
forgotten so much. I can't seem to do CSG as easily as before and am rotating my
left hand all over the place trying to work out my builds ;-)

This was just something simple to refresh my memory.

Good refresher certainly! Let me guess: the foreground is a modelled 
landscape (plus rocket of course); the background landscape is an image_map.

Norbert Kern called you once !

I wish ;-) jut the rocket is modelled the entire background is an HDR probe from
http://www.hdrlabs.com/sibl/archive.html it was just a quick background to test
launch my rocket.

I really only did this as I was playing around with media and created something
that looked like a rocket engine flame so decided to build a surround for it.

I wish ;-) the whole background is an HDR probe only the rocket is modelled.

I was playing around with media and made something that looked like a
rocket/engine burn so decided to build something to surround it.
