Yes, those do exist. It's just that they are not available everywhere,
and, in some places, not all of the time.

If that's a pure radiosity scene, then, scattering media won't work
properly as it can't get illuminated by the radiosity.
That leave you with a clumsy mix of emissive and absorbing medias.

Interesting. This seems to lean towards surrealism :-) ... Then smoke is needed
indeed !

well i settled for something more real than sur... also ditched the
radiosity. pulled this one off with a point light that tracks the
hot-spot you see in the lamp. the fill light is a shadowless spot the
same color as the greenery. i wish blender would quit changing their
ui...i'll have to get better before i can detail out the gnome

I like this version. One feels pulled into the scene.

(now, what is that strange object reflected at right in the teapot's
spout? Looks like another teapot. I had not noticed it before and it
effectively was less visible before.)

I love how it turns out now!
Indeed about Blender changes, the second rewrite almost had me give up the
exporter, but now that the critcial recovery point is over, I'll keep up, and
even might broaden the offering soon ;-)
