This reflective frog on a checkered plane is part of the hand plane I 
posted in 2008.  As you can see from the cylinders and tori adorning the 
edges, the model was never complete.  This was because those parts of 
the frog would never be visible in the assembled hand plane, so I didn't 
bother filling in those gaps.  But I thought I would post it now with 
shinier textures than I used in 2008.  Also, it's green like Kermit.

The tool is still sitting on the virtual shelf, and I hope to complete 
it some day.  I had wanted to show it off on POV-Ray's 25th anniversary, 
but I didn't complete that scene in time.  Maybe for 2021?

It's a hand plane:
ハンドプレーン (?)

What Ricky (impressively) modeled is the "frog" (part J), which is what adjusts
the depth and angle of the blade in the body or "shoe" of the plane.
