I knew there was going to be something crazy in here when I saw the
unread post count. I wasn't disappointed. You are leading the charge in
this community, of more and more technically advanced use of free software.

Are the trucks in this image not yours? If you're looking for
suggestions, I think the Isuzus are beautiful. They're models are ELF,
FORWARD, and GIGA. Here's a FORWARD made into a firetruck. COOOOL.

The center of the road (between different-way lanes, I mean) somehow
doesn't look photorealistic. Maybe it's too perfect - the fences are
totally straight, theier posts are all in nice line etc.

But noticing that AFTER I realized that the pic is traced, it still
didn't keep me wondering which one of cars actually is added to the
photo :p.

excellent. my only slightest criticism is that the blue signs look like they
are lighted differently from the rest of the scene. I don't know how to
explain it other than, it looks like they were cut and pasted in from a
different but similar scene.

the shrubs on the median between the two sides of the road look excellent

I spent a minute trying to figure out if it was a photo with cars
patched in or if it was a whole scene. I think an area light to soften
the shadows (esp. the power-line shadows) would make it virtually
impossible to tell.

You have to wonder what Mr. Smucker
thought of that tag line, don't you?

This is really amazing ! Maybe a hitch-hicker on the side of the road or
some out of place animal would give the picture a feeling of loneliness...
And perhaps some birds on the power cables ?
Aren't the sign and power cables shadows a bit too sharp ? This is just to
say something ;o)
One could almost hear the cars passing by...

Jaime - that is just great! Well done.

My only crits, (I'm a fine one to talk!) ;) would be that the road lines
could be a little dirtier, and I think I would add some off-yellow and grey
foliage under the bushes in that central reservation .

Man, I must learn your lighting system too.

I spent a year in Germany while in the (US) army in the early 60's.
There was no speed limit on the autobahns. :-) Ordinary streets yes,
autobhan no.

Of course, being 45 years ago, this may have changed by now. Our German
friends in these newsgroups can correct me if this is so. ;-)

Since there were no hostilities at that time, it was a very enjoyable
year. (Except for the "annoyance" of being merely a private in the
military.) :-(

I agree, this is a great image.

So it's not Basque?

Mostly not... :) There are only a few real Euskera words, like there
are also a few real Spanish, English, Italian, Portuguese, etc... but
they rarely form a coherent sentence. Most of the vocals are just
improvised syllables put together with no message, letting you enjoy the
harmony (which is brilliant), and that is really a pleasant discovery
for a fan of instrumental music like me.
