It was? Wow, Nutscrape didn't make me open the plugin! Maybe 'cuz I upgraded
to 4.75.

I think it still needs a more defined shape, like Steve said it looks kinda
like a gas flame. Although there's something horribly wrong if your gas is
burning that yellow. :-/

Funny, I didn't notice it was PNG either. Netscape 4.1 opened it just fine and
it loaded pretty quickly considering. It's probably all the black in the image
that reduced the size so well.

I prefer the one on the right. In the two others, the bright spot looks
too round.
Now all is needed is:
- the flame is two wide at the base.
- the wick should be incandescent red at the tip.
- dripping wax.
- the wax at the top of the candle should have some light passing
through it. (More media...)
[You know, there's no such thing as a finished image]

Very good examples. If you would be so kind as to post the source into
povray.binaries.scene-files, some of us would be grateful.

Funny my first post was a flame as well... Called "First Flame"...
Well done... I like the one on the left... I prefer the smooth tip...
In My Opinion you need some blue/white at the base...??

You are right, that's the next step. Will do.
