Help me please.
I am a registered user of Moray3.3+aPatch.
The camera statements is changed in POV beta 10, so all scenes
created with Moray changed the shot.
One more problem: when POV+Moray run into a parsing parsing it crashes.
Thanks.

1. Have you tried uninstal 3.5 and install 3.1 ?
2. Please save scene as script and check if there is any #version declare in
files. If not add at begining of every script:
#version 3.1;

There is nothing to do without script so try generate script and post it
somewhere to continue helping.

seems to run in a loop and i must ctrl+alt+del for exit).

I have the same problem with crashing, when povray runs into a problem
during parsing. If i try to start pov on it's own and there is a problem
(e.g. inc-file not found, cause i have not declared the right path in
the ini file with the +L comand) i get an error message, but i can
proceed working (after solving the cause). Doing it out of Moray
(rendering), i have to shut down pov AND Moray with the Task-manager....

yes, thats one of those undiscovered bugs in pov3.5 - it crashes for
everyone, and no one knows why....

You mean it crashes _with_ Moray for everyone ? Have you checked both compile
versions ?

yup - moray feeds pov some code with an error, pov dies, moray dies waiting
for pov. kill pov and moray may wake up, but it will not talk to a restarted
pov, so it has to be restarted
parse error can be anything from a missing include to a poorly named texture
(eg 'sphere')
has done that with every version of pov3.5 and moray I have tried
I am thinking perhaps the GUI DLL code would be a good place to start
looking....

I can't find any note about it on Known Bugs list.
Can you prepare proper report for povray.beta-test (or if it was reported
earlier then refresh it for Known Bugs list coordinator) ?
I feel some persons work with Moray with 3.5 so perhaps there is something with
platform ?

Guys, it's a well known issue between me and the POV-Team that we have
spent some time looking at, but haven't been able to resolve. At this
point, it's not clear whether it's a POV-Ray bug or a Moray bug. While
I tend to think it's a POV-Ray problem, neither the POV-Team nor I
could find the root of the problem (the code does not return from a
SetFocus() call to Windows). I will be devoting more time to it next
week to see if I can find a workaround or fix.
Note that Moray does not crash. It hangs while trying to communicate
for about 5 seconds after which normals processing resumes for a short
while. Then it waits another 5 seconds, etc. This means you can leave
Moray with Alt-F4 or whatever means and save your work. You do need to
kill POV-Ray. The menu item Tools|Reset POV-Ray Comms was actually
meant to detach Moray from POV-Ray, but I think it doesn't work if the
Material Editor has been opened. My current developer version of Moray
can recover with this menu item.
