Is there a way to manipulate a image map on a height field, e.g. if I use a
material that contains an image map how do I translate and scale the
material map so it does not tile on the height field.
thanks

Hi Mitch,
you know, I was wondering whether it was you, I was just too shy to
ask :-). Wonderful to hear from you!

Sure. Once the image map material has been assigned to the
heightfield, it will be displayed as a green scquare. You can select
this square (either with Alt-T or graphically with the mouse) and then
scale and translate it into position, in this case preferably in the
TOP view.

Excellent, thank you thank you, that was just what I needed.
I'm having fun with the new Moray, its an amazing improvment. I tried
fighting with Bryce on the Mac and got really frustrated with its interface,
then switched to Moray and it was like taking candy from a baby, soooo EZ.
(course I would never take candy from any baby :)
Mitch
PS I see how Alt T selects the material, but did not see it listed in the
Select tab so I could select it with the mouse like I select other objects.
Is there a way to make it show up in that list?

Hi Mitchell Waite, you recently wrote in moray.win:

No, it's not listed there. You can select it with the mouse in the
views just like you select objects (Shift-Drag).
