Nice Christoph! Done only spot testing thus far, but looking good.

  g++ (Ubuntu 9.3.0-17ubuntu1~20.04) 9.3.0  (old Intel i3)

I'll try and squeeze in more testing based off the v3.8.0 unix tar ball 
over the coming weeks.
