Oh well...
Sometimes one can be rather stupid; happens to me on a regular basis...
The obvious solution is to set World axis orientation in the POV-Ray
output scene bolock to "Left handed".
On the bright side: FlyerX updated Poseray to version 3.13.28 fixing the
material merge tool.
