No, it doesn't fix it.

I just mentioned, that I indeed have 3.6.1 installed.
In the 'About POV-Ray for Mac OS...' dialog it reports 'POV-Ray for Mac 
OS Shell 3.6.0 Build 0197'.
File info reports 'POV-Ray 3.6.1 (Build 197)'.
