Ahh, I just noticed 2 negative scaled blobs in the head definition.

rrectly. POV renders negative scale fine - I use it to mirror object, but the 'trace'
function will return the reversed
-inside surface normal.

Sorry about that. It's easy to scale small objects in Blender in the negative
direction if you're not careful.
