So, I finally got enough round-tuits saved up to forge ahead and rewrite my
prototype involute gear "drawing" scene (which also wrote an SVG file for
laser-cutting) so that I could make proper 3D gears.

I'll likely have to create several variants depending on the given data, but it
seems to work reasonably well at the moment.

I still need to work out a good texture with (micro)normals to mimic machining
marks, and get some marking on the vertical sides of the prism teeth.

Maybe some additional alternatives to spokes.

One step closer to the Antikythera mechanism.
