While working on my project I investigated a easy way to control the movement of
randomly placed particles. I loved the discovered effect so much that I made a
short animation  based on the infamous RSoCP scene setup. If you like it and
wonder how these was made take a look at the SDL file at
povray.text.scene-files. It is really simple and far away from scientific
requirements. The bar-graph shows the distribution of the particles as distance
from the origin. The yellow cones on the cube pointing to the average position
of all particles.
As usual the animation don't work with "Windows Media Player". Use any other
viewer or ask Bill why these happens. If that doesn't help render your own
version.
