I have to keep resetting these values in the Window Properties dialog (Misc 
tab)... everything else seems to stay set, but these two options keep 
clearing themselves...

This was OK in 3.5, but in 3.6.1 and 3.7beta17 it just wont remember the 
setting.

this is fixed (sorry it took so long). it will be in the next beta and will
make its way into the 3.6 version once we do an update.
