Wanted to know if there is any pov-ray source code that can
effectly produce stair including rails.

It would be much appreciated if anyone can direct me to a web site or
could
contribute some code.

I have produced some coding, but not efficient enough to do the task.

Thanks

I don't know about any existing stair macros, i once considered writing
one myself, but i did not yet make any cocrete efforts.

It should not be very difficult to write some pov code generating straight
or circular stairs from some single stair step object, so maybe just try
for yourself.

The rail of circular stairs is a bit more complicated, i would probably
use some isosurface.

I've been through this a few times already, so that I have some
spaghetti-like code available. I never released it because, unlike
windows, stairs are highly specialised objects and the ones I did were
barely usable outside the scene they were made for. If you still want it,
I'll put the code in p.text.scene-files.
