I used to think this was a Windows NT-specific error, but I just got it on
my Windows 98 computer. Admittedly, the computer was doing a slow
crash-and-burn at the time, with most of the graphics stuff not working, but
still, it was quite unexpected.

You can consistently get this error (on w95 anyway) by doing the following.
Create a new moray file & open it in moray
Render the file, find the .pov output file & open it in POV
Re-render the file from moray & if you have auto-reload on ask & the display
window up you will see the error
I have never seen this error on NT but am testing it now (after moray download)
I have no idea what the cause is but may look into it.
