I convert Iges file in a dxf-facet 3d file. Then I convert dxf in
"triangle" povray instructions. But this method is only an approximation
of the iges surfaces.
It's possible to avoid this, and see perfectly iges surfaces on povray?

I am not very familiar with the IGES format but I would guess that you
will not be able to get an exact duplicate unless you greatly increase
the number of facets in your DXF representations. If you have an option
for increasing the faceting of the DXF you might try that. Also when
converting from DXF toi POV use a converter that will convert to POV-Ray's
smooth_triangle format. This will help hide the faceting you might otherwise
see.
