This is not a very good suggestion.

It has always been made clear that next MegaPOV will be released after 
the official source release (everything else would simply not be 
possible for legal reasons).  And it has also been said that the next 
version will be soon after the official source release.  If you follow 
these newsgroups you surely will not miss it.
