Sorry about the delay, I got sidetracked with fixing some glow stuff... 
This patch is based on MegaPOV 0.6a, but requires the changes in the 
spline patch that I released earlier. These are available here:
http://homepage.mac.com/chrishuff/mpovplus/splines.zip

The syntax:
curves {
    red|green|blue|all SPLINE
    // or
    rgb SPLINE_R, SPLINE_G, SPLINE_B
}

I'll probably get rid of the "all" keyword and allow you specify one 
spline for rgb in a future version.
