Hi,
After my first tests with mlpov and hdri I noticed some issues regarding the
adjustment of the map. How can I change the angel of view? When I rotate
the sphere on wich the hdr is mapped to, nothing happens.When I rescale the
sphere the results are almost the same. I need a different part of the
background but I don't know how to get it. Can anybody help?

Have you tried a texture without a HDR image? If you have and it still
behaves odd, it's probably your code.
I'd be glad to help, but I will need to see the code.
You can post it on povray.binaries.scene-files, or mail it to me.

Not sure what mistake you've made ;-) be sure the rotate keyword is placed
after the image_map and into either the pigment or object statement.
FAIK there isn't anything special about the way the image is applied onto
objects, should be like any other.
