Hello,

i mentioned, that when i'm using a higher recursion_level for radiosity i
must set up the max_trace_level in global_settings.
At a level of 15 it takes MUCH time when i have scenes with much reflective
objects (especially with blurred_reflection) and glas objects :-/

Is it possible to code the radiosity with an own max_trace_level? (or
better: without a limitation).
So when you set the max_trace_level at 8 and recursion_level at 20 your
scenes are rendering in acceptable speed...

Paul

I don't know of any practical case where radiosity recursion_limit > 5
would be useful, '20' would be incredibly slow and without limitation
would take - infinitely long.

I don't see any practical use of recursion_limit larger than
max_trace_level although it would theoretically be possible of course.
