Yes I agree. This is why I was thinking it was a operating system related
problem. I remember in the "old days", we had to constantly contend with
differences caused by the interactions between the operating system,
programming environment, and the processor. This maybe a gotcha that is a
combination of Pentium IV and ME. Thanks for your advice and comments.
