Wouldn't it be faster to implement the DrawTriangles and DrawSmoothTriangles
functions in the path, rather than as a macro?

Yes, it would.
But, I'm not a "C Warrior", and didn't want to spend too much time on
POV patching, instead of working on my IRTC entry....

I plan to completely change the syntax in future version, and maybe
direct generation of a mesh of (smooth_)triangles could be an option...
