The source code of MegaPov is directly compilable in Unix as long as you
can provide your own makefile (and the extra files in the unix/ directory
of the official source).
I think that someone has already done this and has a ready pack for
downloading and compiling, but I don't remember the site.

I myself have always compiled megapov by just getting MegaPov's source,
copying the unix/ directory of the official povray and using my own
generic makefile (for gmake). If you want that makefile, I can post it.

c/4)&7;putchar(m),_--?m:(_=(1<<(c&3))-1,(m^=3)&3););} /*- Warp -*/

For unix/linux, you might want to try mpov (
http://www.enst.fr/~jberger/mpov/mpov.html ). It' somewhere in between
megapov 0.6 and 0.7 ;-)

Get MegaPov for MSDOS from my website.

'The Graphics Hub' is at http://www.stuartgibson.com

You can download a precompiled binary for Celeron/PII/PPro machines
or download the full source distribution which compiles with DJGPP right out
of the box!

Enjoy!

Stu.
