I was trying to render the sample "nappe.pov" scene and got this error:
simcloth <---- ERROR
nape.pov:40: error: object or directive expected but undeclared
identifier 'simcloth' found instead.
I'm using povcyg-mcp0701 which is supposed to include the Clothray
patch.
Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Hi !
The sample scene you tried is designed for POVMan 0.71.3, which has an
newer cloth patch than MCP0701. Actually, the syntax has completely
changed between these 2 versions.
There is still an old reference guide for the old cloth patch here:
http://tofbouf.free.fr/clothray/index1_en.html
If you don't need the features brought by MCP, POVMan 0.71.3 for windows
is avalaible here:
http://tofbouf.free.fr/clothray/index2_en.html (bottom of the page)
Bouf.

As Christophe Bouffartigue said, syntax has changed and Megapov MCP uses
an older version of the cloth simulation patch.
I was already thinking of putting together a newer version, but i was
quite busy during the last weeks.
