I have been attempting one of those cool isosurface water scenes. I pretty
much have the scene all worked out and composed, so I was trying to
fine-tune the water color.
I commented out all the complex parts of the scene to speed up the parsing
and made a couple of changes to the texture of the isosurface. Radiosity on,
I began rendering. All was well until it hit the horizon. I happed to have
the task monitor runnig and watched as it started gobbling up lots of memory
until it got to about 1 GB when my poor computer could take it no more. Any
similar experiences or suggestions?

Do you have the latest version (0.5a)? An older verison had a bug that
would cause this to happen with radiosity. BTW, radiosity won't have much
of an affect (if any) on water.

Ya know, now that you mention it... I do need to get the 0.5a version! The
radiosity was actually on for the benefit of the objects that had been
commented out. I could have turned it off for this test render.
I will download the new revision post-haste. Thanks.
