If you try to change the font of the message window in WinMegaPOV, it will
crash the program. This doesn't happen in Official POV. Fix it, please. It
isn't urgent, but annoying. Thanks.

I've switched to the 3.1g user interface (this time I really did... I
think... ever since I got IE 5.0, I haven't had the disappearing-buttons
problem anymore, so it's hard to tell if I'm using the new interface or
not). Anyway, it doesn't currently crash on my system when I switch fonts
(for the either editor or the message window), so it appears as though I've
successfully moved to the new UI, and that this change solves the problem.

Well, I don't have IE5.0 (I gave up hitting myself in the head for the
millennium), and the buttons are still disappearing, and changing fonts
still crashes the the program (so I do the task bar shuffle and don't
change the fonts). So MP0.5 is still the old (3.1d?) user interface.
Were you referring to the next release?

Yes, sorry for not being specific. MP0.5a (not yet released) has the 3.1g
and should work (MP0.5 is the 3.1a interface).

Regarding the title of this post.

All jokes aside, Nathan is to be commended for his sincere interest and hard
work at making a program that works. This is in marked contrast to, say,
Dennis Olivier's response to problems with povlab (and it's now dead? Oh my!).
