I did just try downloading it and after 200k was transfered I cancelled the
download. No errors were encountered during this time.

Thanks, Ken. I'm gonna try a few more times. I think it might be related
to this Netscape application I installed that is supposed to permit
continuation of an interrupted download. If I can't get it to work correctly
I'm going to sh*tcan the thing and try again to see if that fixes it.

I've just gotten UVPov v6.0 now. Netscape SmartDownload was at fault
though I can't figure out why. Now I know to disable this app if I have
trouble downloading files.

Happy to hear of your success. I have the SmartDownload installed but
disabled too but not because I have had problems with it. Just never
got around to exploring it's capabilites.

Just as a note, I have been using Go!illa for a while now and haven't
seen any real problems with it. Has helped out in several cases of very
big files...

I haven't had any problems with it either, aside from the occasional GPF or
page fault.
