Hello everyone,
I am just posting a message in povray.general and ask if the patch of
Nathan Koop (Photon Mapping) work with PovRay 3.1g. One tell me to
simply use the cmedit.dll from 3.1a in \bin directory. I have try to use
uvpov.exe with the cmedit.dll from 3.1g (and all the file from this
version) and it work well!
The question is: It will appear some problems which don't appear yet or
not?
Thanks,
Fabian.

Ok, I don't know what Ken said, so: It should work fine. I've been using
them together (sharing the edit dlls) for a few weeks now with no problems.

You or Babelfish?
If it's the latter, it seems surprisingly good. Though my French skills aren't
as good as they used to be. And they used to be poor...

It was alta vista. I have found that by keeping my sentence structure as
simple as possible the translator work pretty good. If you start throwing
techno-speak at it everything gets messed up.
I find it interesting that when converting from french -> english the
success seems dependent upon who is writing the french. Gilles and Fabien
translate very well while some of the others on the french pov newsgroup
are almost impossible to get a good translation out of. I was reading a
post by Gilles this morning and I could almost read it without the need
for the translator and I have never studied the french language.

Heuh... I'm afraid this one is nearly incomprehensible (I had to
translate back word for word to understand :)

Well, I found it surprising that I understood the post at all. That's Probably
because Ken kept it so simple...
But then, I always have to translate French word for word to understand.
