Anyone know how to calculate stereograms? :)

I would hate to expose you all to my meager programming talents. Pov seems
ready made for creating this art form (stereograms/sirds/etc.) without a lot
of mods.

Anyone? :)

Actually, now that you mention it, I once created a patch for 2.2 that would
output a depthmap instead of an image for a given scene, overriding whatever
textures were specified in the scene. I even made a couple of stereograms
with it, using other software. Perhaps if I have a few minutes I'll put the
functionality back into 3.1.

God Bless You. Is there nothing you won't do for us? :_)

Can I ask for something? (2 things actually)

Could you add the POVAFX glow into the SuperPatch? I ever so need a fast
rendering glow effect. We all need it. Also, could you work in the JPEG patch
from IMP POV? Please with (insert favorite toppings here) on top? TIA.

I thought about the glow effect. I've bookmarked the AFX page and I just
need to go look at the code and see what it would take to add it. The JPG
stuff is less likely, because I'm philosophically opposed to it as a primary
output format, but I'll probably end up adding it anyway.

People might have to start taking up donations for a shrine to you Ron
P. if this keeps up.

Nah, just send old hardware. Old Suns, Powermacs, Amigas, PCs, or
parts thereof will be graciously accepted and given a loving home. :)

I have an old 286 Viglen, 30 meg hard drive, no extra memory, and it still
works brilliantly! If you ever visit Ireland, it's yours.
