A quick update on the Debian Superpatch problems. Once I cleared out
the control-m problem (with a perl snippet). I was able to compile
Superpatch x-povray under Debian Linux with only one other small
problem. I used makefile.linux, and for some reason, it omitted
uniutils.c. This kept parse.o and truetext.o from linking. Once I
added makefile lines for uniutils.c (and changed the library directory
to be consistent with my standard POV library location) Superpatch
x-povray compiled and ran with no problem.

Whoops, you're right. I'll have to fix that. In the meantime,
the 'makefile' that's included is what makefile.linux should be,
as it's the one I actually used to build the Linux version on my
website.
