Is the ridged multifractal function in Meagpov? I looked for a mention
of it in the docs and tried the Superpatch syntax to no avail.

No, sorry. You'll have to revert to SuperPatch to be able to use it. Let's
hope that MegaPOV 0.4 includes it. (Please....)

I plan to add it.. (I had a full fractall dll i wrote for iso_surface
that
had a number of fractal types..) I need to add a varible to the function
defintion for data caching.. i'll send it Nathan once its added..
also planning on the ability to use rounded box as a function..
(also a couple other patches planned.. those are supprises heh)

Don't use the i_fract.c by HDF.. it prevents
accurate multiple fractals with diffrent
frequencies and H's.. (a static first
and what not, so i'm making a non dll version
but i need to add a pointer in the funct
struct to hold the exponent array) I'll
send the iso_func to you
Smellenbergh .. can you read gzipped tar
files?

That sounds like it explains why things didn't work out as expected in my
own tests... Thanks a million XenoArch!!! =)

No problem... I got it combined now and after i come up with the forumal
for
proper scaling I'll send to Smel.. no GPFs yet heheh (the scaling will
be in example file as the function should be as close to the orig dll
as possible)
