I just took a look at this and it went miles and miles above my head.  %)  I
might be interested in how to render voxel-based objects though.

I have not noticed that the hyperfun site was moved to
hosei.ac.jp.  Thank you for the information.

That project is interesting.  But I have not used it because
POV scene language (of the isosurface patch) was enough 
for my purpose.
