does anyone know what the following output means:

Returned status: (9)

I was rendering a landscape generated by terraform with a (tree)macro.

every dot is for some parsed lines, (one dot per 1000 lines, IIRC).
[ It's usefull to know that the parsing is still alive sometimes...]
Unroll #while loop and macro call when counting lines.
Looks like your parsing some big mesh ?

I do not know about that.
Is that the displayed message, or the value returned by povray ?
Do you have any camera ? File option are correct ?
Do you have enough memory available ? (any quota or ulimit per process ?)
