First thanks for the help I got for xterm
NEW:
The streams are redirected to a console. It was too much hassle to deal
with them with the app.
You can renice povray in the unix way (from -20 to 20). It still needs
some work though.
Added the 'pause' and 'resume' functions.
For more information read the readme.txt
The version I release works with a 1024x768 screen.
I'd like to hear from users with other resolutions how it works.
+ A few bugs correction
Added new icons.
Shame on me I just stole them from the WinPOV 3.5 version.
Question:
How do you force with a command line the render box to be always on top
(regardless of the Windows manager KDE, blackbox, Gnome)?

On the web page it says 4.7.2002, is this the latest release?

If I want to see screen shots why do I have to click on two links instead
of one.
Firstly I click on "Screenshots" at the top of the page, it send me to an
anchor halfway down the page where there is another link to the actual
screenshots page.
I'd suggest get rid of the anchor but all just IMHO.
There may be more stuff like this that needs changing, I just stumbeled
over this one by accident.

Just one more day patience. I am rewriting 80 % of the site.
It will be updated tomorrow.

The streams window goes accross my top two desktops rather than sticking
to just the one that I'm working in. Even if I open Pyvon in the bottom
right desktop the streams window seems to think that it needs to be twice
the width of my desktop.
An installer of some kind would be nice. I like the new button images.
And why not get the library path from .povrayrc rather than using
/home/fabien/pov or whatever as default (this could be something that
the installer fixes).
Havn't tried rendering with it yet, and probably won't for some time,
but it's looking good.

Which window manager do you use, with which resolution, with which
settings ( and while we are at it a copy of your /etc/X11/xf86config file ?
I would like to reproduce that problem on my computer. I hope you don't
have a too exotic window manager.
I use a python script to start Pyvon.
It first tests the width and height of your screen, and then a xterm
terminal is started and then the GUI of Pyvon.
Both the terminal and Pyvon are sized according to the screen resolution
found by the Python script.
As for the installer, I have never written one. I'll try to use that of
POV 3.5
Thanks

Have a look at the "distutils" module that comes with python.

Gnome, Enlightenment at 800x600.
I'll email the file to you.
