I have posted the latest release of Pyvon at

http://pyvon.sourceforge.net

It now include auto expansion of keywords.
If more than one keyword matches the beginning, you have the possibility
to choose between those you want.

this is what i have looked for a long time. it is great and much useful.
because after month i did not use povray i have forgotten some parameters
and then i can use the menue.
am i wrong or did i see it as a windows version of povray long time ago?

i can not program python and do it better so here are some hints for you:
- if i maximize the main window on the right side 5 pixels are missing.
- if i load a pov-file and do a "save as" the box right of the stop-button
shows the name of the original file i loaded and not the new one.
- it is not possible to change the font of the message window (i get an
ugly fixed font i can not read)
- maybe it is useful if the parameters for rendering could be clicked
together from menue
- an info menue would help to find out which povray version is used
- where can i change the color of syntax highlightning (except from source)?

great work!

Question,
What license are you providing this with? I'm wondering this for
packaging issues more than anything else.

Glad to hear that you like it.
- Maximise on the right side ? Could you be more explicit ?
- I'll check about the 'save as' bug, add a font menu for the message window and
add a combobox for the resolutions
- As for the possibiliy to change the syntax colors, I'll see to it a bit later
(That's a tough and long job)

It's a GPL license

You would probably do well to include the COPYING from any GPL-2 program
with your archive, (the reason the file is called COPYING is that C is
lister alphabetically "high" in an archive, meaning that somone can't
blame broken transfer for not getting the complete archive and thus not
being aware of the license of a package.)

Well, I'm having my rest after a eventful Gnome 2 release :)

if you maximize a window it reaches from the left side of you monitor to
the right side completely. but in my case it never reaches the right side.
it is like someone swims through a river and you can say: he is drunken 5
meters before the border.

is there a way for the v3.1 version of your textfiles? in a22.zip i have
only found v3.0.
