Take advantage of it! The ambient_light setting in POV-ray is very powerful,
but for it to work, the ambient settings for the material need to be higher
than <0,0,0>, but not much. <0.1,0.1,0.1> gets the job done. The advantage
to using it: No more black areas in the shadows and lighting becomes
simpler, allowing for just one light in Poser for shadows. The default
setting for ambient_light in POV is 1, but this can be adjusted with
"ambient_light 1*x" with x being equal to whatever is the proper setting
for your scene.
In Poser, you need to set the ambient color. White converts to 1, which is
too high.
