It looks like we finally got our own little group. :-)

So... Let's start the discussion off on hair and clothes. Where are some
good places to get free hair and clothes?

Gilles showed me this site for great period clothes:
http://www.poserfashion.net
And most of us probably already know about Kozaburo's hair:
http://digitalbabes2.com

And since this is apparently the first post on this board, I'd be remiss if
I didn't mention FlyerX's PoseRay, which is (imho) the best tool for
converting Poser models to POV-Ray. And that can be found here:
http://user.txcyber.com/~sgalls/

Should this board be more concerned with issues where POV-Ray and Poser come
into contact? Or are all Poser questions/comments fine? I think we POVers
have a unique perspective for Poser than the mainstream, so I would guess
all Poser comments are fine. Someone feel free to correct me, if not.

Hi Jeremy! I'm really glad there is a POV-Ray <-> Poser group up! This looks
like a great place for all things Poser. This is probably going to be the
greatest place to find POV-Ray specific Poser issues too -- stuff not
previously addressed in a formal forum like this.

This group will be a great addition!!!

Oops. Just discovered this group. I was wondering what happened with
that idea!

I put a lot of time from this round's entry on trying to push through a
workflow which would involve modelling a figure in Wings, importing into
P4 using Phibuilder, then posing the figure in P4 and exporting either
to Wings for fine tailoring or to Poseray for conversion to POV. I had
some success with this but there are still major obstacles to it being a
useful workflow. In the end I found I could pose my figure more
effectively in Wings itself. But I learned a lot about Poser, .phi and
.cr files so far.

Hmmm... try Poser5 once. You may be pleasantly surprised :-)

I wonder why it's not mentioned in the announcements. Has anything been
mentioned in .general or anywhere else?

I haven't been around as much lately, so it's possible I missed the notice.

Your news reader, Outlook Express, does not include a signature when you
reply to a message unless you explicitly ask it to. To force it to always
include your signature, in the main window, go to "Tools", "Options",
"Signatures" tab, and uncheck "Don't add signatures to replies and
forwards."

I knew that :-)
Just forgot that I was posting from work (and thus being forced to use M$)
rather than from home where I use Linux for everything except for some apps
(eg Poser) that haven't been ported yet

It won't be long before Poser is there too *crosses fingers* :-)
