Greetings.
Is there any Windows program that converts DXF or 3DF files into the POV
format?
I just don't like command-line DOS programs.
Thanks,
Sven

Thanks, too!
I looked to both of them. However, and funnily, I now came to use
AccuTrans3D. Also a veeery nice software!
Greetings, and lots of thanks to you all,
Sven

the thing with Poseray, It only runs in windows (unless you use wine (which
leaves automatization/scripting/batch(cue) process/ out of question)) and
it only imports meshes, materials/lights are ditched out.
3dwin allows batch processing but it isn't free (shareware for 30 days and
it doesn't run on linux) besides all that the images look cartoonish when
rendered in POV ray, the materials get distorted, etc.
I liked more 3dwin and used it to import .ase files form 3dsmax which is the
one I use. The renders as I said look cartoonish. Also tried with lightwave
form 3dsmax and the materials get distorted, as they do also using .ase
when u place a white light in combination with another.
So where do you get accutrans?
