Some time back (last posting Friday 21 March 2003 22:17:29), we talked
about inlining functions and GCC.

It was discovered that gcc-3 lacks to warn about non-inlined functions
even if -Winline is specified.

I just received the e-mail that this bug is now fixed in GCC 3.3 and 3.4.

A quick compile of POVRay shows that there are a more functions which
cannot get inlined.
